On February 10, at our Shabbat services, we will have a double feature. First, we will celebrate Tu B’shvat through songs and prayers. Additionally, we will also celebrate Shabbat Shira. This celebration notes the moment when we read the parting of the Red Sea in the Torah, which is when the people sang with Miriam following their freedom from Egypt. Shabbat Shira is a service filled with music to commemorate our connection to the moment when Miriam and the people sang and danced the night away.
